News/Upcoming Dates:

1. Clinic news: Please note that it is against corporation policy to return medication home with students. If you have a need for it to be returned, a parent must pick up.

2. Fundraiser Money Due Thursday, September 15th

3. Spell Bowl Try-Outs Begin Monday, September 19th

4. Book Fair will run September 19-23 with hours on Thursday, September 22 from 2:30-6:30pm

5. Family Literacy Night – September 22 from 6:30-7:30pm

6. Final Book Rental Payments Due October 1st

7. Picture Re-Takes – Friday, October 7th

Spell Bowl Call-Out Meeting

Announcements

Any students interested in being on the 2011 Maxwell Spell Bowl team should meet in Mrs. Heller’s classroom this Wednesday morning at 7:30am!!

*All students who make the team will have to pay a $10 activity fee.

Literacy Night at Maxwell

Our English/Language Arts teachers have organized a Literacy Night for Maxwell on September 22 from 6:30-7:30.  The Literacy Night will take place during the same week as our school book fair, so we will keep the book fair open from 2:30-7:30 that night as well.  More information will be coming soon but please make sure to mark the date in your calendars.  Hope to see you all there!
