1.    Below is a link to the GCHS sports conditioning and camp schedules.  If a camp registration form exists, a link to that form will be next to the date.  You can choose a particular sport or view the entire summer master schedule

 2.    GCJHS 7th GRADE BAND!

 Attention all 6th grade students and parents!  As you are preparing to transition to the Junior High next year, have you considered becoming a part of the “Cougar Pride” Band program?  Plans will need to be made by the end of this current school year, as student schedules for 7th grade will be based around their participation in Band, and which instrument a student plays.  During the next few weeks, there will be several important events to give you all the info you will need to know about how to join the Band:

  • Wednesday May 16th- Mr. Poncar will visit your school to test students on instruments
  •  Monday May 21st – Meeting @ GCJHS cafeteria @ 7:00 pm for incoming 7th grade parents (and students, optional) to find out instrument info and sign up for band.

 Look for a letter from Mr. Poncar with more details coming to you via mail soon!

G-CJHS Dance Team

Athletics

GCJHS Dance Team Auditions

GCJHS Dance Team Workshops will be held April 9, 11, and 12 from 6:30 – 8:30PM in the GCJHS Gym.  Please bring your application and parent consent form with you.  Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.  You must have a physical on file or bring a copy to workshops.

 Auditions will be April 13 from 6-9PM in the GCJHS Gym.  Auditions will be closed to parents and to the public.

G-C Junior High Boys Soccer

Attention 6th grade boys: the G-CJHS is seeking athletes that are interested in playing soccer.  Tryouts for the boys’ soccer club will be August 26th from 3:45-5:45 at G-CJHS.  If you are selected the fee is $100 for home and away uniforms.  Practices will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:45-5:45 at the Junior High.  Click here for more information.

Greenfield-Central Junior High Tennis

There will be a call out meeting for the Greenfield-Central Junior High Tennis team on Monday from 3:40-4:00 in Mr. Bourdeau’s classroom at the G-C Junior High. This meeting is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  Tryouts will begin on Wednesday.
