Maxwell will, unfortunately, be losing two great science teachers this coming school year. Mr. Anthony Cory has taken a teaching job nearer his home in New Castle, and Mrs. Ashley Klonowski will be off on a year of maternity leave.

However, we’re fortunate to have two teachers joining the staff who are no strangers to our building. Miss Cheyann Peckinpaugh will be taking over a fifth grade science class and Mrs. Renee Hodge will be filling in for Mrs. Klonowski.

Miss Peckinpaugh formerly taught math and science in sixth grade when the school was Maxwell Middle School and Mrs. Hodge taught in both fourth and sixth grade classes last year when two of our other teachers were home on maternity leave.
